MarPLC

The I/O gateway that delivers real-time PLC signal status to your web application.

Overview

Production software is only as good as the data it receives. MarPLC sits between your PLC and your web application, watching the 24 V control signals on the line and sending a status message the instant any signal changes. The result is accurate, up-to-the-second machine and line status in your application — without polling, manual entry or custom PLC programming.

⚡

Event-driven reporting

Status is sent only when a PLC signal changes, keeping network traffic minimal and every message meaningful.

🔌

Direct application link

Connects directly to your web application’s service over TCP/IP — no middleware or extra servers required.

24V

Industrial signal levels

Designed to read standard 24 V PLC outputs, the common language of industrial control.

⇄

Two-way handshake

MarPLC answers the application when it is contacted, so the application always knows the gateway is present and responsive.

✓

Simulation-tested

Every release is validated against a dedicated PLC signal simulator, so behaviour is proven before it reaches your line.

How it works

A simple, robust signal path from the machine to production software.

Step 1 · Source

PLC

Machine and line states are output as 24 V digital signals.

→24 V I/O
Step 2 · XiTech

MarPLC

Continuously monitors each input and detects every change of state.

→TCP/IP
Step 3 · Destination

Web application

Receives the updated status instantly and reflects it in production.

  1. ConnectMarPLC is wired to the PLC outputs you want to track and joined to the same network as your web application.
  2. MonitorThe gateway watches every input continuously and recognises each change of state.
  3. ReportOn every change, MarPLC sends the current status to the web application over TCP — nothing is sent while signals are steady.
  4. RespondWhen the application contacts the gateway, MarPLC replies, confirming the link is alive.

Where it fits

Line and machine status

Give your web application an accurate, live view of which machines are running, stopped or in fault.

Retrofitting existing equipment

Bring older PLC-controlled equipment into your web application using the signals it already provides.

Removing manual reporting

Replace hand-logged events with automatic, time-accurate status updates.
